Some Internet sites promote apparitions which are not yet accepted by the Church. In loyalty to Mater Ecclesia, this web site only endorses private revelations which have received the approval of Church authorities. The following are links to official documents which present the Church's stance on some widely-reported alleged apparitions, along with other valuable information.

• Garabandal, Spain (1961-1965)

  Garabandal update (Bishop Santander's November 1996 statement regarding this alleged apparition).

• Medjugorje, Bosnia (1981-present)
  (A very popular one, promoted by many web sites. The local bishop disapproves, and the Vatican has not issued a final decision, so it remains a questionable apparition.)
